This first project was all about lines. Kindergartners were introduced to the element of line and the names of six of them. They created a line composition and added a watercolor wash over them called a crayon resist.
This art was created using geometric shapes. The artists had to create a figure using those shapes, and their border had to have a pattern.
This was a collaborative project by all kindergartners emphasizing organic shapes.
After mixing primary colors to make a color wheel,
students created these symmetrical works of art.
